Seacoast Bike Month Events

May 2 - Bike Rodeo at Portsmouth Children's Day. Fleet Bank Parking Lot. Corner of Ceres and Daniel Streets in Downtown Portsmouth. Noon to 4:00 pm.

May 3 - Alternative Transportation Day at UNH. 7:30 to 10:00 am in A Lot (next to train station. Call Andy Ward for details at 862-1634).

May 5 - Alternative Transportation Day at UNH. 11:00 to 1:30 pm in the MUB Food Court. Call Andy Ward for details at 862-1634).

May 8 - Bike Rodeo at Village Elementary School, 122 York Street in York, ME. Grades K-4. Free. 9:00-11:30 am.

May 16 - Women's Cycling Clinic taught by former pro cyclist and SABR Board Member Sue McDonough. Hosted by Portsmouth Athletic Club. 10:00am-3:00pm. $35 includes lunch, plus $5 for optional afternoon group ride (covers insurance).

May 18 - UNH Bike Day - Bike to campus and stop for breakfast at Diamond Library. 7:30-10:00 am. Call Andy Ward for details at 862-1634.

May 18 - Community Bike Night at O'Naturals in Portsmouth. 6:00-8:00 pm

May 20 - SABR Benefit Reception at Papa Wheelie's, 653 Islington Street, Portsmouth. 7:00-9:00 pm.

May 21 is Seacoast Bike to Work Day

May 21 - Bike Commuter Breakfasts in Dover (Mill Courtyard), Exeter (Town Bandstand), Portsmouth (Market Square), Pease (Lonza Biologics), and Stratham Industrial Park (Timberland), from 7:00-9:00am. Call 433-6777 for further information. Stop in a the Bike Commuter Breakfast nearest your worksite and enhoy a delicious light breakfast donated by local businesses.

May 21 - Portsmouth community bike ride. Meet at 6:00 pm in Market Square.

May 21 - Bike Commuter Recognition Reception at the Portsmouth Brewer. 56 Market Street. 7:00-9:00pm.
