MISSION

SABR's mission is to enhance the bicycle route system of the Seacoast-Great Bay region of New Hampshire and southern Maine.

We are active in supporting numerous annual bicycling events such as Bike/Walk to Work Day and the Portsmouth Criterium. We advocate for better cycling facilities in new projects like the rebuilding of the Memorial Bridge between Kittery and Portsmouth, wider shoulders on roadways, Safe Routes to Schools and bike parking in metro areas. We support a program that brings low- to no-cost cycling courses to schoolchildren.
