About the Event

Join Seacoast Area Bike Riders and representatives of the Portsmouth Sustainability and Energy Advisory Committees for an easy ride with a focus on solar power! On this approximately 3.8 mile bike ride in Portsmouth, we'll visit a city site where installing solar arrays is being considered, as well as a residence on New Castle Ave. to learn about solar opportunities for homes.

Please arrive by 12:15 PM to check in for the ride and sign this digital waiver. The ride begins at Portsmouth Public Library: there's a bike repair station -- donated by SABR -- and a new solar e-bike charging station installed by the city there. The "Sun Day" Solar Slow Roll on the Fall Equinox is inspired by “Sun Day,” sunday.earth, a day of action to support the power of clean energy.
