SPIF's Mission
Seacoast Pedal It Forward (SPIF) is a new program hosted by the non-profit Seacoast Area Bicycle Riders (SABR). Seacoast Pedal It Forward’s mission is to grow and unite the cycling community by providing people with fair and equitable access to bicycles for recreation and/or transportation as well as keeping usable, fixable bicycles out of the landfill and at their highest use.

Community and Purpose
Welcome to Seacoast Area Bike Riders's Seacoast Pedal It Forward. We are dedicated to creating a community of active and engaged individuals through the power of bicycles. We believe that cycling promotes physical and mental health, builds confidence and resilience, fosters environmental stewardship, and brings diverse communities together. With our selection of used bicycles, educational programs, and community outreach, we are committed to making the Seacoast a better place to live, work, and play.
Community
Let's make a positive impact in our community through cycling. SPIF's aim is to provide high-quality, refurbished bicycles to those in need. We believe that biking is not only great for the environment, but it fosters a sense of community and connection among individuals. We are proud of the programs we have developed and the impact that they have had on our community.
Diversity
We're passionate about bringing people together to build a strong, and diverse outdoor community. We want to create an environment that welcomes and celebrates everyone, including Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQIA+, and individuals of different ages, abilities, religious preferences, and socioeconomic statuses. We want to foster connections and promote promote wellbeing. We want to create a more supportive and inclusive world.
Stewardship
If we empower people to take action and be active stewards of the environment, we can make a difference in the world. At Seacoast Pedal It Forward, we believe in the power of bicycling to help create a safer, cleaner, and more sustainable world. We are committed to fostering a community of cyclists who are passionate about promoting environmental conservation and advocating for safer roads.
Education
We believe that bicycles can help build a strong community and aid healthy individuals.SPIF and SABR are committed to providing educational programming that help people feel seen, heard and supported. Let's cycle toward a brighter future together!
Transportation
We believe in creating innovative solutions to reduce barriers to entry for those interested in outdoor recreation or sustainable transportation. Our projects include refurbishing bicycles for a small fee and for future programming, as well as advocating for bike-friendly infrastructure in the community.
Seacoast Area Bike Riders
Seacoast Pedal It Forward Community Outreach
Seacoast Pedal It Forward is a new SABR program seeking bike donations which we will repair and check for safety before donating them back to the community. Our passion for cycling and community led to the establishment of Seacoast Pedal It Forward. We are proud to offer reliable bikes and gear to those who may not have access to them while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. Our educational programs are aimed at teaching people of all ages the benefits of cycling, from physical exercise to mental well-being and everything in between. We believe in fostering an environment where everyone has the opportunity to be active and enjoy the great outdoors.
