Seacoast Pedal It Forward
SPIF's Mission
Seacoast Pedal It Forward (SPIF) is a SABR program that was started in spring 2024. Our volunteers refurbish donated bikes and offer them to those in need for transportation and recreation, along with a helmet, bike light and lock. We help keep usable bicycles out of landfills. SABR and SPIF promote bicycle riding as part of a healthy and active lifestyle.

Do you have a bicycle to donate? We welcome bicycle donations.
Our team of SPIF volunteers is based at Port City Makerspace. They meet weekly to receive and refurbish donated bicycles, and to “re-cycle” them for new use. These bikes offer reliable transportation, and each bike comes with a helmet, bike light, and lock. By refurbishing bicycles, we are also keeping usable bikes out of the landfill.
