The 12 Spokes of Festivus

Sun, Dec 17th: 12 Spokes of Festivus Ride, Departing from Newfields, NH Trailhead, Rockingham Recreational Trail @ 11am.

Join SABR for a festive, casual ride on the Rockingham Recreational Trail departing Newfields, NH, then riding 8 miles to Epping for a lunch stop at The Holy Grail Restaurant & Pub. “Air Out Your Grievances” (if you have any) at the Grail, then we will ride back as a group to the Newfields Trailhead. 

Ride roundtrip mileage will be 16 miles. 

The trail surface is packed dirt/gravel with some scattered leaves and depending on the weather the week of the ride, there may be a few shallow puddles to ride or walk around. Any bike with tires over 35mm wide should work for the ride, but bikes and tires oriented for gravel, mountain biking or commuting will be best. 

The ride will move along at a casual pace between 9-12 mph+ depending on who is there.
