NH Gives

The NH Gives annual fundraiser on June 10 - 11 is almost here - and your support is critical to the vitality of your local nonprofit, volunteer bicycle organization and bike advocacy group!

Your donation during this 24-hour window will help power Seacoast Area Bicycle Riders' mission to make the Seacoast safer, more connected, and more fun for everyone on a bicycle.

Your support this year will help us:

🚴‍♀️ Put more people on bikes – through group rides, education, and our Seacoast Pedal It Forward initiative.

🛟 Promote safe bike riding routes and advocacy that benefits bikers, such as our support for the NH Seacoast Greenway trail

🛠️ Strengthen our programs and partnerships – so we can reach more communities and advocate more effectively

Seacoast Pedal It Forward is Accepting Bike Donations!

Seacoast Pedal It Forward refurbishes bikes and offers them to

those in need of transportation, along with a helmet, bike light and lock.

After a recent delivery by one of our SPIF volunteers, we received this message from the nonprofit New Generation in Greenland, which provides housing for pregnant women and their children:

Paul and SABR...not only give back to families by providing these bikes for them but he even delivers them, and provides all the needed equipment to ensure their safety. Thank you for all you do!

Our monthly Coffee Outside is a "ride your bike from where you like" to an ever-changing location. Bring camp coffee (or tea) gear to brew-your-own onsite, ride over with coffee from home or bring a mug! Please check our Facebook and Instagram page for exact date.

SABR Advocacy Efforts

Portsmouth - Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan update. The plan update is expected to be presented to the council in May or June. We continue to advocate for reasonable steps toward a connected network in the coming years.
