Volunteer with SABR this fall!

🚴 Volunteer with SABR at the Seacoast Century — September 26!
Our first volunteer event of the fall is coming up! On September 26, SABR volunteers will be supporting the Seacoast Century by staffing a new rest stop at Odiorne Point and providing SAG support for riders.
Learn more here.
The Odiorne Point rest stop is new this year and will provide a much-needed resource for riders completing the shorter routes. Volunteers will hand out snacks, offer encouragement, and—most importantly—be a cheerful welcome for riders arriving by bike from Hampton!
We’ll also have volunteers providing SAG support, which is more likely to take place in the afternoon. SAG volunteers may be called upon to pick up riders who are unable to complete the ride. A car and bike rack are required for this role.
🕘 Time commitment: Approximately 9:00 AM–3:30 PM📍 Location: Odiorne Point, plus SAG support throughout the route
The Granite State Wheelers (GSW) have been incredibly generous supporters of SABR and SPIF. This is a great opportunity to give back, show our appreciation, and help make the Seacoast Century a great experience for all participants.

🍎 Bike Valet at Apple Harvest Day — October 3
On October 3, SABR will be hosting free bike valet parking at the Dover Police Department parking garage on Orchard Street during Apple Harvest Day!
We’ll be there from approximately 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, and we’re looking for volunteers to help check bikes in and out throughout the day.
Learn more here.
Bike valet is a great way to give people the opportunity to bike to Apple Harvest Day instead of driving—especially on one of Dover’s busiest and most stressful driving days, when traffic is heavy and roads are closed.
Haven’t experienced Apple Harvest Day by bike before? This is your chance! 🚲🍎 Come volunteer, enjoy the festivities, and help make biking to the event an easy option for the community.
