Biking Into Fall. It's Fall Foliage Time

Who's ready for some fine fall foliage, enjoyed as you pedal on one of our regional bike trails?

We've updated our rail trail leaf-peeping suggestions in this blog post.

E-Bikes - Building a Culture of Safety - E-bikes of all shapes and sizes have quickly become part of our city’s streets. With this growth comes a need for conversations about safety, responsibility, and community.

The Portsmouth Police Department recently held a forum to discuss how our community can share the road respectfully. Read the post.

We invite and welcome your support of SABR! Thank you.

Farewell & Congratulations to Jeff and Leslie Latimer

Thanks Jeff! We wish you all the best!
Thanks Jeff! We wish you all the best!

Beloved Gus’ Bike Shop in North Hampton is closed as longtime owner and former SABR board member Jeff Latimer retired last month.

Jeff and Leslie have been true leaders in the Seacoast biking community, and we’re deeply grateful for their years of dedication and support.

We wish them all the best in this next chapter, and we know their legacy will keep rolling strong!

SABR Advocacy Efforts

Portsmouth - There are opportunities for public input in the City Master Plan and the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Many bike/ped requests to the CIP over the past two years have been put on hold “pending approval of a new Bike/Ped Plan,” so now is the time to meet as a group to discuss priorities and make sure there is progress. Email: info@seacoastbikes.org to get involved.

NHDOT's 10-Year Transportation Improvement Plan for 2027 – 2035 - Ready for Your Input! New Hampshire DOT updates its 10-year plan every other year, led by the Governor’s Advisory Committee on Intermodal Transportation (GACIT). This plan represents projects to be designed/funded/constructed in 2027-2036. See details and a list of public hearings in the Seacoast region.
